Nitya Anand
IP Consultant & Director
Nitya is an accomplished Intellectual Property professional with nearly 15 years of specialized experience in global IP research, and strategy. As an IP Consultant and Director, he advises multinational corporations, law firms, and technology‑driven enterprises on complex IP matters across diverse technical domains.
Before entering the IP industry, Nitya worked in the steel manufacturing sector at JSW Steel Limited, gaining hands‑on industrial and process‑engineering experience. He later served as a Scientist at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)—India’s National Standards Body under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs—where he contributed to standards development and technical evaluation initiatives, strengthening his understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Nitya’s expertise spans the entire IP lifecycle, including patent research and analytics, portfolio creation and management, infringement and validity analysis, patent prosecution support, licensing and monetization strategies, due diligence, and technology valuation. He has collaborated extensively with leading global law firms and Fortune‑listed companies, supporting them in high‑stakes decision‑making involving patent invalidation, product clearance, freedom‑to‑operate assessments, patentability studies, watch services, infringement analysis, and EOU charting.
With a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, Nitya brings strong technical depth to his IP practice. His interests extend into broader engineering fields, enabling him to engage confidently with innovations spanning multiple sectors.
Outside of work, Nitya enjoys swimming, chess, hiking, and spending quality time with his family and his German Shepherd. His balanced approach to life reflects the same curiosity and discipline he brings to his work in patents and innovation.
Jashandeep Singh

Jashandeep is a Patent Agent and an independent consultant in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). He has more than 10 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting US, EPO, Indian, Malaysian, and Vietnamese patent applications, and has provided consultation to clients on various types of Patent analytics like Patentability, Invalidation, Freedom-to-Operate and Landscape/White Space Searches. He holds a degree in law (LLB) and a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Jashandeep has previously worked with a boutique law firm based in Noida in the capacity of a Partner, a leading law firm based in Delhi, and a Patent consultation firm based out of Gurgaon.
He has expertise in the technology domains of automobiles, such as Electric Vehicles, vehicle control systems, tyre technology, and manufacturing assembly line equipment, domains of hydrocarbon/petroleum extraction and refinement, battery management, medical devices, and various software domains including Internet-of-Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain.
He regularly counsels individual inventors, in-house IP teams, and attorneys on inventions and products, as well as provides consultation on new product development to adhere compliance and requirements of protection under Intellectual Property Rights.
He loves sketching, road biking and playing cricket in his leisure time.
